Request deletion of your PROMOTE account
This page explains how to request deletion of your PROMOTE account and associated app data.

How to delete your account in the app
If you still have access to the PROMOTE app, you can request account deletion directly inside the app:
- Open the PROMOTE app.
- Sign in to the account you want deleted.
- Go to Profile or the profile menu.
- Open Settings.
- Go to Account.
- Select Delete Account and follow the prompts.
In-app deletion is the fastest way to request deletion because it confirms that you are signed in to the account.
How to request deletion from the web
If you no longer have the app installed, you can request deletion by email.

Use the subject line:
PROMOTE Account Deletion Request. - Include the email address used for your PROMOTE account.
- We may ask for additional verification before deleting the account to help protect users from unauthorized deletion requests.
What data is deleted
When your account deletion request is completed, PROMOTE deletes or disables access to account data associated with your user profile, including:
- Your PROMOTE user profile.
- Your account settings and preferences.
- Your saved events or services.
- Your app messages and notification records.
- Your social connection data, where applicable.
- Your public profile visibility, where applicable.
Content you created, such as events or services, may be removed, unpublished, anonymized, or otherwise disabled from public surfaces as part of the deletion process.
Data we may retain
Some limited records may be retained when necessary for security, fraud prevention, payment compliance, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
- Payment and subscription records may be retained where required by app store, tax, accounting, or legal requirements.
- Security and abuse-prevention records may be retained to prevent repeated free-trial abuse, fraud, spam, or platform misuse.
- Non-reversible hashed trial-claim records may be retained to enforce one-time trial eligibility. These records are not intended to store your plain email address.
Processing time
We aim to process verified account deletion requests within a reasonable period of time. Some data may take additional time to be removed from backups, logs, or systems that are not immediately user-facing.
If we need more information to verify your request, we will contact you using the email address provided in your deletion request.
