Explore PinKeep™ Collections

A collection is a set of saved places gathered around one idea — a city worth a long weekend, a stretch of coast, the places in a neighborhood worth a second visit. Each one is published here as a single .pinkeep file you can download and open in PinKeep™.

Every collection lists what is inside it before you download anything: how many places it holds, where they are, and the name of each one. Nothing is hidden behind the download.

Downloading a collection file costs nothing. Opening one in PinKeep™ and previewing every place in it is free as well. Saving those places into your own library is part of PinKeep™ Pro.

Opening a downloaded collection in PinKeep™

A .pinkeep file is PinKeep™’s own file type, so your phone already knows which app it belongs to once PinKeep™ is installed.

On Android

  1. Tap Download on a collection.
  2. Open the download notification, or find the file in Files under Downloads, and tap it.
  3. Choose PinKeep™ if Android asks which app should open it.
  4. PinKeep™ shows you everything in the file before anything is saved.

On iPhone and iPad

  1. Tap Download on a collection.
  2. Open the downloads arrow in Safari, or find the file in the Files app under Downloads.
  3. Tap the file, or use the share button and choose PinKeep™.
  4. PinKeep™ shows you everything in the file before anything is saved.

If your phone will not open the file

Open PinKeep™ yourself and go to Settings → Import PinKeep™ Data, then pick the file you downloaded. That route works whatever your browser decided the file was.

PinKeep™ reads a downloaded file, checks it, and shows you a preview. It writes nothing to your library until you confirm, and a collection file can never contain anybody’s private notes — the file format has no field for them.
